About TrueKeys
Locally owned. Obsessively tuned.
TrueKeys Piano Tuning was founded in Cottonwood Heights with a simple belief: every piano — from a family spinet to a concert grand — deserves to sound its very best.
Our story
A piano should invite you to sit down and play.
When a piano is out of tune, people stop playing it. Lessons feel like a chore, hymns sound thin, and the instrument at the center of the room slowly becomes furniture. We started TrueKeys to change that — one home, chapel and studio at a time.
We combine careful aural tuning with modern precision tools, and we take the time to do it right. The result is a piano that sounds warm and clear, feels even under your fingers, and stays in tune longer.
“Precise, musical tunings that keep your piano stable longer.”
We serve families, new and returning players, teachers, schools and churches across the Salt Lake Valley — with convenient online booking and honest, upfront pricing every time.
What we stand for
The TrueKeys standard.
Musical, not mechanical
Every tuning is refined by ear, so chords bloom and octaves ring — not just numbers on a screen.
Built to last
Careful pin-setting and stable technique mean your tuning holds through Utah’s dry seasons.
Clear, upfront pricing
You know the price before we start. If something extra is needed, we explain why and you decide.
Respect for your home
On time, tidy, quiet and careful around your instrument, floors and furniture.
Trusted by neighbors
Five-star care, recommended across the valley.
